I am not much of a shoe shopper. But I needed some shoes for the summer boating season, and spotted these in a local department store. I liked the way they looked, but they didnt have it in my size. So I ordered the exact size i needed from amazon, and had them in a couple of days!! THey fit great, and are extremely comfortable. Been in the salt water a few times, and on the rocks, and are still doing great.

i loved the color of the shoes but the only setback is that the oyster/taupe color can easily attract dirt

This is a great shoe which is strong, sturdy and durable. I bought it on sale knowing that the top portion was a different color and thought it wouldnt matter. However wearing it, i think i would have preferred the top to be the same color or another shade of brown. In any event, the shoe is good but as with any NEW shoe (because i wore it without socks)it gave me a blister on the back of my heel. However after wearing socks with it from then on, it was good.

Excellent value, comfortable fit. Especially just above the heel the leather has a concave shape that is very comfortable when I prop up my feet so that the tendon gets no pressure. I also like the saltwater proof eyelets.
Great Product May 2, 2008
This is a great shoe to wear around the house or on the boat. As all sperries must be worn without socks, this shoe took a little while to get adjusted to and worn in properly. Once in proper shape, these shoes were great. Although I prefer the more traditional and formal original topsiders, these are great for working in or just relaxing. I had to order one size smaller than normal to get the perfect fit however, so beware of the sizing issue.
