Product Description Greg Land and Justin Ponsor's gorgeous panels reveal Arwyn and her companions visit to amazing new places on the journey to Skarnheim and throughout the Five Kingdoms. Ian Edginton's story line is classic good versus evil, life versus death, freedom versus slavery; with love, hate, honor, justice, revenge, betrayal, rage, murder and magic as we find that the allies and the enemies have more than a few things in common.

I wish it won't be the last one... April 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the last paperback from the sojourn serie. I had waited for a long time for it to be released, because the original publisher, Crossgen, disappeared, leaving behind him several wonderful but unfinished series : Ruse, El Cazador, and Sojourn! Thnaks a lot, Checker Book Publishing, to reprint the paperbacks that never got released before!
First, the drawing is beautiful! The landscapes and the characters are very realistic but at the same time full of imagination. One of the best comics drawer, according to me!
Second, the story. Very basic at the beginning (at first, I started buying the comics more because of the drawing and the humor in the text, than for the story itself). But with time, it became more complex, richer, and far less manicheist than originally.
Will the story keep on? I surely hope so, even if the chances are low. Which is sad, cause you definitely have here one of the best and most original comics ever!
A great comic series ended too soon. March 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sojourn is one of my favorite Crossgen titles. This graphic novel contains the final issues printed of this great fantasy series. I started reading this comic late in the story, and Crossgen went out of business leaving the story unfinished. I just wish another publisher could pick up the story where this left off. A great read and artwork for fantasy buffs.
