If your a fan like me of the Mutants & Mastermidns gaming stuff, then you will LOVE this book. It really puts into perspective "arrays", and adds a few more flaws and extras. And breaks down into more detail how to make your own powers. There are expanded explanations on the progression charts, and how to better use concentration with power use. A few powers have been altered in costs, and each power has suggestions for AP's and Extras to make the most of each power.
Great sourcebook August 8, 2008 Hands down Mutants and Masterminds is the best of its class. A superhero game with no equal. This book, to me at least, is required for play. It expands on powers and actually lets you in on more of the rules. The original book was great but kind of left you in the dark about container powers probably because their just wasn't room. This book focuses on powers and all sorts of great stuff that will really make your game better. Many of the powers are edgy and even dark. They cover all sorts of examples and if you want to play M&M get this book, it is the first must for the game once you have the main rule book.
