 My partner bought it, and I don't recommend it June 11, 2005
My partner bought it from a book store's sales table. I've read four stories out of it as well as skimmed several others. It is filled with morbidly sadistic portrayals of forced gay sex by men who are easily labeled as barbaric and evil. The first couple of stories weren't bad, all seem to take place in the past and in other 'lands', but most stories are of such inhumane treatment that I think even robots would fight back if they had to take what some of these 'slaves' are made to endure. The stories are ugly, disgusting and in many cased poorly written! My partner hasn't read it, and hasn't wanted to since I told him about it.

This book was quite unusual for an anthology of gay erotica. It wasn't just hard core sex, that becomes stale after a while. The range of stories it contained was very wide, from virgin tales, rape scenes, daddy bear tales, and even water sports. I recommend to any newcomer who wants a compact variety of gay stories, or an old hat who's looking for something new to tingle his fngers.
