Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Theadora Conner lived a quiet, solitary life until she met two strange men one night at a club. Several days later, after a surgically neat kidnapping, she awoke to find that her world has been turned upside down. Told that she was mated to both men and altered to carry their children, she finds herself thrown into a world and culture she knows nothing about, one where science, myth, and religion seem to blend seamlessly.

As she tries to accept her new life with Kyrin and Daeshen, her new husbands, a hidden danger stalks the human women. For not all of the Ta'e'sha are happy to accept these women, and one expresses his contempt with rape.

Publisher's Note: This book contains subject matter that may be objectionable to some readers: BDSM, dubious consent, homoerotic sexual practices, menage, sex while in shapeshifted form, and violence.

5 out of 5 stars 4.5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies!   April 20, 2008

Theadora Conner is used to being alone. That doesn't mean that she doesn't long for her life to be more exciting. Her wish comes true in the form of two highly intense and sensuous men. Men who claim to be her mates. Men who vow that she will know only incredible pleasure at their hands.

Though Kyrin and Daeshen are lovers, they long for a female to mate with to create their family unit. Seeing Thea at a club on Earth, they instantly recognize that she is the one to complete their family. Getting her to their world is a bit more difficult than they first thought, but with a little ingenious manipulation, they manage to accomplish just that. When their unwilling captive wakes up angry and defiant, Kyrin and Daeshen do the only thing they can think of at the moment; they make love to Theadora until she screams. Their greatest hope is that she will eventually learn to love them.

THE TA'E'SHA CHRONICLES: DAUGHTERS OF TERRA is a shape shifter novel unlike any I have read before. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this new world where men search the Earth for their mates and, in turn, are able to genetically alter the women to accept them and thus reproduce. I smiled at Daeshen and Kyrin's naivete concerning Theadora and enjoyed watching her reactions toward her two new husbands. Add in one bad guy intent on stopping human women from mating with the men, and my quest for a good read was cnfirmed. Cover to cover, I didn't stop until finished!

Since DAUGHTERS OF TERRA is listed as Book 1 of The Ta'e'sha Chronicles, I look forward with anticipation to Book 2. Readers should note that Loose Id has put a subject matter warning with DAUGHTERS OF TERRA concerning homoerotic love, menage, BDSM, and violence. If this daunting list makes you hesitate, let me assure you that this warning did not stop me from enjoying every moment of this new world created by Theolyn Boese.

5 out of 5 stars Daughters of Terra- A Joyfully Recommended Title   April 20, 2008

Theadora Conner was living an ordinary life, when something extraordinary happened. She was knocked out and kidnapped. When she woke up it was to find that she was the wife of Kyrin and Daeshen and they were not quite human. Not only that, but she was expected to start having babies with her husbands right away.

Kyrin and Daeshen are Ta'e'sha and have been lovers for a long time. They decided it was time to take a new mate to make their family whole.

Not everyone is happy with the humans being kidnapped and brought into the Ta'e'sha world. Will Theadora be able to overcome the kidnapping? Will she be safe with her husbands? Can Kyrin and Daeshen convince Theadora that she is the one for them?

Daughters of Terra is GREAT! Theolyn Boese did a wonderful job drawing me into this story and world. She had myth, legend, romance, laughter, turmoil, and hot sex. I devoured this book. It had everything I could ever want in a story so I am Joyfully Recommending Daughters of Terra. I didn't want it to end and I'm so thankful that there is a second book coming out. I can't wait!

4 out of 5 stars Solid Futuristic would buy next book, too   September 23, 2008

This was a very solid futuristic that was sexy and easy to read. The only thing I might say is some 'violence' occurs to the heroine, which some readers may find offensive or uncomfortable. I was kinda shocked, usually the heroine gets saved before then. But she recovers nicely. I did find the world created by this author interesting and if her next book in the series comes out would definitely purchase it.
