| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Designed for practical use, this guide profiles the experiences of actual companies, among them McDonald's and AT&T, who have successfully capitalized on the unique marketing opportunities inherent in environmentalism. By showing which strategies work and why many backfire, the book establishes a bold new framework for marketing approaches in the competitive 1990s.

A correction. July 20, 2007 Environmental Marketing by Walter Coddington was written by Walter Coddington and Carl Frankel. Although Peter Florian is indicated on some bookseller's Web sites as a co-author of the book, he was not.
Environmental Marketing at a Japanese business school April 20, 2006 I saw the Walter Coddington book Environmental Marketing listed on a marketing course study agenda on a Japanese business school website! As a marketing student myself, I was impressed -as the Japanese are way ahead of us when in comes to environmental stewardship.

While reviewer Norman is certainly entitled to his (or her) opinion, his review of "Environmental Marketing" seems suspiciously personal. "Environmental Marketing" was the first book by a major publisher on the topic. Regarding Norman's assertion that I borrowed from other sources on the subject; when "Environmental Marketing" was written (in 1991-2) there were no other sources on the subject! Sorry if I offended you somewhere along the way Norman. Feel free to e-mail me at walter.coddington@qmail.com should you wish to talk about it.
From a satisfied client April 5, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Environmental Marketing is based on real experience, with real clients who have testified to real, positive results. I know, I'm a client. Coddington's advice was good in 1993, and it has only gotten better since then.
As good today as yesterday October 22, 2004 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought a used copy of Walter Coddington's Environmental Marketing because my corporate consulting work involves building partnerships with non-governmental organizations (like environmental groups). Although the book was written eleven years ago, I found Coddington's advice on developing private sector partnerships with public or civil sector organizations to be quite specific and very useful.
