Do your homework b4 you buy September 15, 2007 164 out of 177 found this review helpful
I was going to by this book through the info commercials that he has as it advertised free shipping. So I called the number.
As usual, with the free shipping they had add ons for additional books, which is understandable
But, when I told her all I wanted was the book and the free shipping, she told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to receive my book unless I paid extra for the express delivery fee. I explained to her that, in this time and age to receive something after 4-6 weeks have gone by is just a rip off and I cancelled the order
After doing a bit of homework after that situation I saw a recommendation for Mikhail Tombak books and I bought them and they are great reading for someone that is proactive in their health care......and he is an actual biologist
Health bundle January 13, 2007 137 out of 139 found this review helpful
I've enjoyed this book. Some od the stories Kevin rights need to be taken with a grain of salt, but I think that he does it on purpose. But the important thing that Kevin is saying is that there are a multitude of things we can try out there that will help eliminate disease and illness for the most part from our lives. I have to say I already know a lot of what he is talking after reading another great book entitled Cure the Incurable which is a great addition to books by Trudeau. It is only too bad that the other author is not as popular at Trudeau, because these two books should actually be sold together in one "health bundle") I have always felt that living in this world as it is and trying to avoid the toxins etc is so hard. However, there are things I can do even if I can't do everything, that will benefit me in the long run. Kevin is throwing at us a big list of things that are contributing to the deteriorating health of people in the western world. Take this book for what it is -- a very broad collection of natural cure opportunities. Because there is a lot of stuff out there to help us have better health.
Donyt Write A Review If You Havenyt Read The Book May 5, 2006 45 out of 83 found this review helpful
I am so sick of people writing negative reviews for this book who haven?t even read it. Get a life! Besides, I think it is natural for people to dislike him and what he says because it is so far from what we have been taught all of our lives. But, make an educated review, people. Plus, I have a hard time believing that people who are making such personal attacks on Kevin Trudeau have ever read what he has to say, much less ALSO purchased the FOLLOW-UP book, which this is.
He may not have any medical training, but he has a lot of experience behind the facade of the government and the pharmaceutical industry. The medical claims he makes are substantiated by a study or an expert in the field, and he will refer you to further reading by an expert on the topic.
Kevin Trudeau is the first to point out that he is not a medical doctor, but that does NOT mean that he doesn?t have something important to say about what is going on in the medical community.
As for those referring to a supposed review that Kevin wrote himself, give me a break!! That is a fake and anyone can get an e-mail account and write a review with any name. Anyone who knows Kevin and his style and personality would be able to tell that he did not write a misspelled, weak, measly 5 line review to promote his own book. You people are the gullible ones!!
I have his first book as well and it was definitely an eye-opener. I agree that the idea seems so ludicrous, but when you read the logical supporting facts, you see that it just HAS to be true. Based on the fact that I don?t want ALL of my medical information coming from doctors who only make money when I am sick, this book is at the very least a good purchase for supplemental (non)medical advice.
I did join his website to get some additional information that I wanted. I was a member for a couple of months, then wanted to cancel because I felt I had gotten what I needed from it. When I requested to cancel, the webmaster expressed that he was sorry to see that I wanted to go, and awarded me a free year of membership. I thought that was a nice touch and definitely not a money-making tactic.

I had the pleasure of working one of Kevin's conventions and I read/flipped through this book in a couple of days. He spends 200 pages trying to convince the reader why you should trust him. He tells the reader that he has been to Area 51 and has seen alien technology. Now, any educated person would stop there and say 'WHAT?!' Also, what really got me was that he says that the sun doesn't cause skin cancer - sun block does. Yea, right. Take a biology class idiot!! Your skin turns dark b/c your cells are trying to protect your DNA. If your DNA gets damaged, then cancer starts. Also, he recommends getting 15 colonic in 30 days. I'm not a colon expert or anything but do you honestly think all that water up your colon is good for you? Okay maybe one colonic a month but 15 in 30 days? Yea right, I think that would ruin your colon. All the good information he offers is to eat healthy, don't eat fast food, exercise, and a few other basic things that we all know. Then, he makes plugs for his web page - which, by the way you have to pay to join it and get the info that the government, biotech industries don't want you to know. Please, if there was a cure for cancer, I'm sure someone would have informed the public already. This book is written by a manipulative man preying on the weak who believe that their government is against them.
No education in ANY health care, alternative or traditional August 5, 2007 45 out of 54 found this review helpful
He's served time in FEDERAL PRISON, GUILTY. The Smoking Gun website has the story on his thievery and his pathological criminal mind. He's hurting people, all for money, and hiding behind the 1st amendment. This is the SAME MAN whom sold you the "LAUNDRY CD" in the mid 1990s, a MAGIC Compact Disk that would replace soap, saving money and saving the environment, only $99 each (That is, if he only charged your credit card once). It was a REGULAR BLANK CD and didnt clean your clothes any more than PLAIN WATER DID.
If you love this snake-oil salesman, by all means follow his magic "cures" and die believing them. They of course arent in this book, only on his magic website, which he charges $500 PER YEAR to access!
