great art, but... August 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
ok so the art work is great, phil hale and ashley wood are amazing, but the photo you see for the item is not what you get! it shows six books( 1-5 and a slightly larger book of ashley woods' drawings), however this is not so. you recieve the books 0-6 all the same 6x6 size- unfortunate and slightly disappointing.
Cool Little Set of Art Books September 25, 2008 This is a nice set of art books by some very talented people. It's nicely put together with no nonsense, just images of artwork. I have two small problems with the set, though:
1) The books are very small, especially for the price of the set. For art books, I would appreciate them to be at least 8"x8" to see more of the details.
2) The artists seem to have similar styles. It doesn't help that two of the books are by Ashley Wood and another two are by Phil Hale. I would like to see more variety, like the cartoony book by Shane Glines.
