A Great Book for Kids May 5, 2005 25 out of 33 found this review helpful
The book called What Would You Do? is a great book for kids aged 8 to 11 because it helps people to have a better life. For example, if you have a sister or a brother and you do not want them to come into your room you can look at the book What Would You Do? and get good advice. On the first page the book says to make a rule for your sister or brother. If your rule says your siblings have to pay five cents when they enter your room, that will solve the problem. That's why I say you should read this book.
A great reinforcement for young girls January 16, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
My 10 year old neice couldn't put this book down. It allows girls to read about common problems and solutions before they actually happen. Good food for thought for girls between the ages of 9 and 12.
Great book for young girls February 7, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
My daughter (11) has just about worn the cover off the book. A child does not have to have American Girl dolls to benefit from this book. It is written to teach them about being a girl. The advice is sound, and it is well written. I am pleased that she has gotten so much use out of the book. She often talks to us about topics in the book, and it is good that it enables the communication process to happen.

My ten-year-old daughter enjoyed this book and finished the quizzes in one evening. The book covers different scenarios, such as school, home, friends, etc. and gives a dilemma with three multiple choice answers to choose from on how you would solve the dilemma. Then you add up the answers and it gives you a mini personality profile. I actually found out a few things about my daughter by reading the responses she chose.
