Product Description It's been years since the members of the Sisterhood first banded together, with the help of their mentor Charles Martin, to exact their own form of justice on those whose crimes had gone unpunished by the legal system. Now, back in the United States after an enforced exile, and ensconced in a new home on Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina, Myra, Kathryn, Annie, Alexis, Isabelle, Yoko, and Nikki are breathing easy at last - but not for long. One dark night, under cover of a vicious storm, a helicopter lands on their mountain. The Sisters aren't about to wait to be ambushed. Braving the storm, they set out to greet their guests, only to be told by Charles that the mysterious visitors are the Sisterhood's new employers, and they've got a dangerous new assignment in mind. The task they face is daunting. If they succeed, the Sisterhood will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. If they fail, they'll forfeit much more than a pay check. But if the Ladies of Pinewood have learned one thing over the course of their adventures, it's that when friends band together, miracles can happen...

To Close For Comfort March 24, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the most exciting and closest the girls have come to being caught big time. They are approached on Big Pine Mountain by a group of people willing to fill in a blank check for there services nothing like that has ever been offered to the girls before but again this involves a very dangerous mission The World Bank. With rats and not the political ones but vermin ones Washington gets thrown upside down and all due to rumors that are untrue but the girls succeed in the most dangerous mission and many parts of it they have to figure out on there own due to problems with weather and where Charles is, this is by far the best of the series and you wont be able to put it down. This is a ten star book not a five,

I am very pleased that this series is going to continue. I was a little disappointed that the 2nd book came first and had a horrible time not reading before the 1st one got here. I think Fern Michaels is a fantastic author and I read everything she writes.

I was so excited to read another "Rules of the Game/Sisterhood" book. They have become a little predictable, but are still very entertaining; always good for laughs. Easy read that will have you finishing it in no time at all. I can't wait to see what the girls and their guys will get ingo next. The only thing that I didn't like was that it had to end.
