Product Description The women of the Sisterhood are fun, smart, sassy, and determined to get their way every time. But most of all, they are the best friends a woman wants by her side in good times and bad. Meeting once again in Myra Rutledge's beautiful Virginia home, they're ready to face a new challenge and right a vicious wrong...Alexis Thorn, once a successful securities broker, spent a hellish year behind bars for a crime she never committed. Now, she has her freedom, but she's left with haunting memories of being hauled from her office in handcuffs...of the cell door clanging shut behind her...of her pleas going unheard. Meanwhile, the real criminals - her former employers, Roland Sullivan and his lover Arden Gillespie - continue to make millions by conning the innocent, especially preying on the elderly and taking their life savings. Alexis dreams of getting even. The legal system failed her, but the Sisterhood won't. They have a delicious plan that can give Sullivan and Gillespie a taste of their own bitter medicine...

Lethal Justice- -yawn--Fern Michaels has a ghost writer! August 20, 2006 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book and the one just before it, are nothing of the caliber of the previous books in this revenge of the sisterhood series. Who wrote this? It doesn't read or feel like the others, and it's a big boring and not well written at all. If I'd read these two last ones first, I'd never have read the others in the series! Fern, get off your duff--you're starting to write very boring and ride on your name!
Fern Michael's Sisterhood Series March 9, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I thought this might be the last in the series. The mention of another name at the end leads me to think another book will be forthcoming. If you enjoy women who take care of business when done wrong, you will like this book. Suggestion: start at the beginning and read in order of publication. Weekend Warriors, I think is the first in the series. I like the series.
Getting Caught August 29, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are following Ms. Michaels Sisterhoold series I think you will truly enjoy this one.
As always the memebers of the sisterhood are at risks but this time they are so afraid of getting caught that Myra convices Charles to visit an old friend of hers and see if they might be able to use her residence as a safe haven.
Alexis was a successful broker who was framed and imprisoned for being set up by Arden Gillespie and Roland Sullivan. Thanks to Ms. Gillespies cunning ways she gets Roland to go along with her although he is not comfortable with the plan but is intrigued and infatuated witih Arden.
The results are fantastic and they are dosed with touches of humor which only Ms. Michaels can provide. Since I dont want to give it away lets just say Ms. Gillespie will never look the same again once the sisterhood are done with her.
I highly recommend it.
love it January 1, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This whole series it great. I have it on CD but the woman who is reading it tries to pretend she is the cast & she talks in different voices which she should not do. She makes Myra sound like she is 90, which she is not. She should just read the book. But she does this on all of the books. but the story is wonderful.
Wonderful
Ruins grow thorns. May 24, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Alexis Thorn, the first-time around, passed her revenge by The Sisterhood. She was haunted by the specter of bars controlling her life. "Lethal Justice" by Fern Michaels gives Alexis the justice she was denied in grand style as the Sisterhood unite and gain a new member in this the sixth of a good series. Wanting and being afraid of the consequences of her desire, plagues Alexis, as she knows the score. She served time in prison for a crime she didn't commit and has no desire to return. Perhaps the most complex of the series to date. Nash Black, author of "Qualifying Laps" and "Taxes, Stumbling Blocks & Pitfalls for Authors."
