Mommy Has a Tattoo artists/author Phil Padwe is back with "the coolest coloring book ever." The cover fish tattoo is fairly representative of the style of the thirty designs in the book, although some have much simpler, large coloring areas and others employ more detailed feathered and floral work. Animal tattoos in the book include fish, unicorns, tigers, birds, dolphins, dragons, and butterflies. Scrollwork, celestial symbols, patriotic images, and Asian characters also appear in the tattoo designs. There's even a classic heart with a blank banner for the coloring artist to fill in!
I picked up this book on a whim after reading a feature about Padwe. Imagine my surprise when, after a few moments of flipping around and thinking who I'd buy gift copies for, I was motivated to dig out some long-neglected crayons and get to work on a dove!
Highly recommended for any tattoo fan in your life, and definitely for open-minded parents. Maybe you should get two copies, so the toddler and the grown-ups can each color their own.
