Good September 2, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Product was not what I was expecting. Not helpful if you are srttingup salesforce but very helpful if you are utilizing the program.
Dry, but good info. September 8, 2008 This is a great basic book on Salesforce. This is not a book you can really sit down and just read through to get new ideas of how to use Salesforce. The layout is by function, each section gives a brief overview of the function and then step by step instructions for how to use that function. Additionally it has a good overview of which functions come with each tier of Salesforce. Overall a good book for beginners, long time users will probably be disappointed as most of the topics covered are basic.
Another Home Run September 12, 2008 Mr Kachinske, along with S Roach, C Gilliland and T Kachinske, have put together another excellent guide on getting the most out of a popular CRM package - in this case salesforce.com. Salesforce.com itself may be all sizzle and no steak, but their book shows you how to get the most out of a product that is long on hype and short on substance. I bought this based on my experience with their MS CRM, BCM and ACT books, and was not disappointed. If you're turned off or worse, offended, by the hokeyness of the 'Dummies' series, you'll appreciate the serious, no nonsense POV taken by the authors. I recommend the book, though not the product.
A Must Have Source September 18, 2008 This book is, without question, a must have if you are using SalesForce.com.
The content, the format and writing style are all fantastic.
I wouldn't change one thing. And there was not one topic or tip that was left out.
An Excellent Purchase. Thank you.
