As a volunteer youth leader with a background and main career in small business management, I found this book a great approach to Youth Ministry using a different paradigm. Ron Luce lays out what it takes for a leader to plan and build a youth ministry using a practical business like approach. I highly recommended it for all youth leaders and I buying 3 more for my fellow youth leaders in my church.

A must for those new in the ministry and a "should read" for all of us old veterans. I have been on staff in a growing church for 15 and still was inspired by this book. It will respark Dreams God has put in your heart and give a direction to fulfill them. Dream, Plan and Build!!
Blueprint for youth ministry! November 10, 2006

Excellent book to use as a blueprint for your youth ministry. I am an adult volunteer with my church youth ministry and realized there were a number of areas for improvement. This book helped organize and reinforce my thoughts, provided some independent validation, and helped me to see some different approaches. Highly recommended even for youth volunteers/helpers to read.

I found this book nothing more than a motivation book which could have been written by anyone in the motivational field. Why is it that we can though out a few Bible references and couch our language with churchy phrases and then call it a Christian Leadership Guide. When are we going to follow our true leader, Jesus?
