Dr. Creflo is an amazing God fearing man and this book is a nice addition to my collection. I love that he speaks in practical terms, then backs it up with scripture! This was a great book for me---as I started off 2008 with an executive level job and twins born yesterday....so I have many decisions to make and Dr. Dollar makes it much easier for me. This book is easy to read, but yet.....hard to follow (as far as making the right Godly decisions). Great book for the everyday parent, friend, coworker and spouse. Thanks.

This book will not even be available on the market until January of 08, so it's amazing that "Bean" has foind it at thrift shops/yard sales.
I will buy the book sight unseen because I know what an excellent man of God Pastor Creflo Dollar is..no, I don't live in College Park, Ga. but I watch him 6 days a week and have for many years, and know he is teaching the Word of God with out compromise..
some who are spiritually blinded can not see that.so sad.....

Looking forward to getting the book, I've been reading everything I can find, and hoping to get a preview from the publisher, I checked Amazon, but it's not out yet (didn't know you could post reviews before a book hits the shelves--as you might be able to see, this is a second review), but I've been watching Creflo Dollar's program for the past three months on television and online, and am waiting with great anticipation to it's release in January.
If the book is anything like Pastor Dollar's sermons, it's definitely worth your time. He has made a difference in my life, and that is without looking at the "8 Steps" so I am pre-ordering it. If you enjoy common sense (based on the bible) and have a sense of humor (the humility and ability to laugh), it will be a great book to grow spiritually by.

I just begun reading this book. So far I have enjoyed it. Dr. Dollar explains easy to follow steps on creating a new life with God. Even if you finish the book and make comments that it has not help you. You are fooling yourselves. You have to put it in practice in order to see results. I enjoy reading this book and continue to gain knowledge from it. I recommend this book to anyone who needs. Be prepared to be amazed and remember to put his lessons into practice.

In his book, "8 Steps to Create the Life You Want" author Dr. Creflo Dollar inspires the reader take a closer look at their life compared to God's Word. This has been helpful for me because I have been in a spiritual "rut" of sorts. By taking each step carefully with clear, focused attention, Dr. Dollar leaves nuggets, practial applications (or what I would call principles) and reminds the reader of the power created through spiritually developed words, thoughts, emotions, decisions, actions, habits and character which delivers us to our destiny -- and when the above are not founded upon the Word of God, we live beneath our privilages and often outside of God's will for us.
As a writer, I enjoy the book most because I can interact with practical applications by writing down areas of success in which I desire and searching the scripture related to these elements of success. Kinda like the research for which I was trained.
At less than $15, this is a book you'll want to purchase for others, share with your children and refer to when you feel like slipping backwards.
