Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Tattoos of the Heart is the authorA's inspiring testimony of GodA's redeeming grace and power in her life. She shares how each choice in life creates indelible tattoos upon oneA's heart.

Her story begins with the emotional trauma she believes she must have endured because of her A“perceived abandonmentA” as a baby in a hospital isolation ward. Her journal chronicles a perilous journey through multiple marriages, divorces, spousal abuse, and the loss of her children as she seeks to find her way. She credits her survival to GodA's love and infinite mercy.

Ultimately, she learns from her mistakes and moves forward with courage and simple faith. She tells her story in a dramatic, no-nonsense narrative that stresses her acceptance of responsibility for the poor choices she made. Examining the debris of her past, she is finally able to bridge the gap between her painful past and her joyful present.

Tattoos of the Heart is a A“page-turnerA” you wonA't want to put down! Her story will tug at your heartstrings. As you read, you will cry for the child she was, wonder how, as a young woman, she could have made so many stupid choices, and then marvel that she survived.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars God=Prayer=Life-line=Survival   July 12, 2003
If one word could describe this book, I believe it would be 'profound.' I had planned to take my time reading this book in order to absorb the full message the author was intending to convey, but once I started reading it, I found it difficult to put down. Tattoos of the Heart is a powerful heart-rending story of a woman who had no self-esteem, jumping from one bad relationship into another as she sets out to self-destruct. However she never lets go of her faith in the power of the Almighty. It is easy to see how someone in the devastating situations she found herself in, and the struggles she endured, could have just given up. The amazing story is that she never gave in to the adversities and fought back with a strength she didn't even realize she had. She contributes that strength to prayer and the grace of God. I was overwhelmed by the willpower of this woman to survive. I believe that Tattoos of the Heart would be uplifting to anyone, but especially to those with low self-esteem who continually find themselves going from bad to worse. If you are looking for a book full of sunshine and flowers, this is not the book for you. But, if you want a book that will get you totally involved, breaking your heart from time to time, filling you with compassion and inspiration, and then ending on a beautiful uplifting note, then this book will fill the bill. Tattoos of the Heart is well written, entertaining, uplifting, and inspirational.
