The overal satisfaction is extremly gratifying. This item is so unaffordable on the retail market. I would buy this item and many more from this amazon store. The seller makes items more affordable and offers more cards for a better price than buying retail in individual packs.

My son is pretty much addicted to Pokemon anything at the moment. I purchased these cards for his birthday and he loves them. There was actually a great variety (considering the site mentioned there may be dupes) - especially for the low price. I don't quite "get" the point of the card game myself, but my son enjoys playing with his friends. As far as "educational value" - I don't consider this an educational game, so hard to place a rank on that. If you play the game the way it's supposed to be played, though, it actually requires quite a bit of reading and basic math (adding scores, etc.) Can get pretty strategic, too. Overall very happy with the procudt and transaction.

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong product. I received Yo-gi-oh cards instead of Pokemon. I'm working with the seller to get the cards swapped out for the correct ones... it's just a slow process. I have a very disappointed 8 year old. On the plus side, the seller has responded to all my inquiries... they are communicative, it's just disappointment in the eyes of a child is tough to see. I'm hoping for resolution to the product snafu soon. Would love the opportunity to place another review at that time. Am sure it will be glowing.

This was a bad deal. I ordered for my kids and it is all junk cards. I sent a request to seller asking to return and was never responded to. Save your money.

I ordered these because my son has been begging me to. We got them and Ok, What do you do with them. The characters are barely Ok and there is no meaningful purpose. I also ran into Professoe Brainstorm cards and WOW! The cards actually could be used for something educational and the art was fantastic.
