From the supplier: A 25-year study on the effect of divorce on children followed 130 middle-class California children and their families. The children reported that their childhoods were lonely, their early adulthood were difficult because they lacked financial support and they feared that they were at high risk for divorce. Half of the respondents reported some drug or alcohol abuse as adolescents, but most no longer abused either. Most felt that they should have been consulted about visitation and dual residence decisions during the divorce.
