Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
One woman's inspiring journey though tragedy and sorrow-and the faith that made her entire life a miracle.

When she was just a child, Heather's life was altered by an accident that completely destroyed many of her internal organs. The doctors gave her no chance of survival-but with God's grace, she proved them wrong. When they said she would never walk, she defied them again. And though they insisted she could never have children, she gave birth to two. When others said no...God said yes.

More than a story of suffering and survival, Heather's life is a testament to the power of faith. From the first decisive moments after the accident, Heather and her mother put their trust in God, and let Him work in their lives. With her husband DeWayne and her daughter Mackenzie-the two greatest miracles in her life-Heather has found great joy, and many reasons to give praise. This is her amazing story-offering hope and inspiration to all.

5 out of 5 stars awesome book!!   April 10, 2008
When I first read this book on the plane, I took an hour just to read through the first chapter. I had to compose myself and stop myself from weeping from the details of what Heather went through. A really amazing woman with an incredible strength. What ever could go wrong for her, went wrong. But in the midst of all these tribulations and trials, she emerge victoriously. This book, reminded me that how fortunate I am with what I have and should even feel ashamed whining over small petty little hiccups of my life. And through this book, I came to the realization on how amazing God had worked through Heather as a living testimony. Heather, update us from the last incident that you went through! You are not done yet!

5 out of 5 stars God Said Yes "Great book"   January 31, 2008
I would Highly recommend this book. If you want a book that is very up lifting and moving.

5 out of 5 stars A Testament to the Human Spirit   January 30, 2008
This is an amazing story of survival against terrible odds. Heather survives a devastating car accident, horrific abuse, dozens of awful surgeries and usually fatal infections - and all with a positive attitude and a zest for life.

I agree there are inaccuracies with some of the medical stuff. I chalk that up to her not being a medical professional (as I am.) When a patient doesn't fully understand what is going on medically they tend to get things wrong.

The title makes it sound like it's another one of those religious books. It's not. It's for anyone who wishes to be inspired by one woman's candid, often painful life story.

3 out of 5 stars Well written and inspirational   January 17, 2008

Heather's story is amazing. She certainly has a will to live. The writing was clear and a great read. Kudo's to either or both writers. I must add, as an R.N., there were several medical descrepancies which are not feasible. Especially on pages 231 and 326. By the end of the book, I was wondering how much of her story is overstated. Also, personally experiencing a solid, spiritual foundation; I find it hard to understand how Heather could curse God and hate Him at one point and then continually say 'God never let me down.' If we truly trust God, it is at all times. That is what faith in God means.

Wonderful book. I would highly recommend this book. I have passed it around at work and everyone liked it. I am very pleased with this book and, as always, pleased with the timely manner in which it was received.
