Product Description Collected together for the first time are the original Little Book of Horror stories. This collection features three classic tales of terror - Frankenstein, War of the Worlds and Dracula - retold by Steve Niles and accompanied with beautiful full-color art by Scott Morse, Ted McKeever and Richard Sala.

Intelligent People will not buy this book--here's why, & I suggest a good alternative. January 8, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Please note that I am the ONLY reviewer as of August 20 2008. That speaks volumes.
Here is a MUCH BETTER Graphic Novel adaptation of Dracula, well-written & better drawn. Buy it, instead. All-Action Classics: Dracula (All-Action Classics)
Sala is a good artist, but the others leave a lot to be desired, & can't tell a story with pictures very well. The adaptations are very poorly-written, & a failure. The three stories are crammed into too little space, & lose out because of this. What the heck is "War Of The Worlds" doing here? It's SCIENCE FICTION, not Horror!
What SHOULD HAVE been done: keep Sala, & get a SINGLE artist in the place of the others. OMIT "War Of The Worlds" from the collection, as it doesn't belong here in the first place, & cheats the other stories out of page count. Do Dracula & Frankenstein, and give them more pages.
A "helpful" vote or twenty, to counteract the negative votes from the editors' cousins & brothers-in-law & such would be nice.
