~WINGS OF CHANGE: DRAGON KNIGHTS, BOOK 5 by Bianca D'Arc~
When Lucia arrives on the doorstep of the King of Draconia, she had no idea her destiny would change so dramatically. Or perhaps she was simply fulfilling her destiny? No matter, she was just determined to save her dying friend, the dragon Reynor, and to do that she must engage the help of his Knight, Sir Kaden, or his love, the dragoness Linea.
A waitress in a simple pub, Lucia certainly never expected to return to the tavern with two dragons, two Knights, and the Queen of Draconia herself in tow! But it is just this troupe of heroes that arrive in time to help Reynor, for it is not just his body that is withering, but his spirit as well.
It soon becomes clear to Knights Kaden and Marcus that Lucia is their mate, fated to complete the union between dragons and knights and round out their family. But Lucia isn't from Draconia, and while she has heard rumor of the strange custom in which two Dragon Knights must marry one woman, she is uncertain she can go through with it...
If you have read many of my reviews, it is no secret to you that I am a huge fan of author Bianca D'Arc, and most especially her DRAGON KNIGHTS stories. You can imagine my pleasure that she continues to imagine new stories for this fascinating series, and that she seems to have no trouble finding ways to keep the stories fresh and exciting, as proven once more with the newest edition in the saga, WINGS OF CHANGE.
With this new story, we enjoy a return to the menage theme that began the series. This scenario guarantees some built-in angst for the story as Lucia tries to come to terms with the idea of mating with two men, a situation beyond her experience or the societal norms of her own country. But Kaden and Marcus are more than up to the task of convincing her that their love is true and right, with a little help from Marcus' dragoness, the Lady Linea.
Of course, the relationship between these three isn't the sole focus of D'arc's book - she fleshes it out nicely with some long-hidden secrets about Lucia, some of which she herself is hiding, and a few of which have been long hidden from her. As we learn Lucia's secrets, we see that she may very well be a most important figure in the future of the war between Draconia and Sskithdron.
The author introduces us to yet another most intriguing new species, something I believe I'm becoming rather spoiled on! As a long-time lover of Fantasy stories, my excitement with the introduction of each new creature builds more and more, expanding not only the horizons within this world, but my interest as well.
WINGS OF CHANGE is the fifth story in the DRAGON KNIGHTS series, and will be released in print in the future anthology, I DREAM OF DRAGONS I. While this book can be read as a standalone without leaving the reader confused, the story will be best enjoyed if you read the entire series in order. Trust me, you will not regret it!
~THE DRAGONS' DEMON by Marie Harte~
Trying to fix the potential damage caused by her brothers' irresponsible prank, Eve is left holding the proverbial bag. Only in this case, the bag is a royal dragon egg, and none other than the Commander of the dragon legion himself has come to collect the precious egg and punish the wrongdoers.
But Ranton's ideas for punishment change dramatically when he lays eyes on the beautiful little demon holding his baby brother's egg...
I'll admit it, I am very partial to stories with dragons - especially shape shifting dragons - but even considering my own partiality to the genre, I can safely state that Marie Harte's THE DRAGONS' DEMON absolutely rocked!!! Harte's offering to Samhain Publishing's I DREAM OF DRAGONS 1 anthology is extremely sensual, with plenty of M/F love scenes and a few M/F/M menage scenes, but she ingeniously mixes it up with a good dose of real emotion. Although a short story, it is easy to feel the attraction between these characters, and even easier to understand when that attraction grows into something more real.
Ranton has to be one of the hottest dragons around - in more ways than one - and his possessiveness of spunky little demon Eve fans the flames of heat even higher in this sassy romance. Eve is more than capable of holding her own with the domineering dragon commander, and pulls a few tricks of her own that keep Ranton on his toes!
I haven't found any information on either the author's or publisher's sites regarding whether THE DRAGONS' DEMON is or will be connected to other stories by Marie Harte, but I will most certainly be standing in line for any sequels that are released. There were several supporting characters I would dearly love to see more of!
~KNIGHT'S CHALLENGE by Summer Devon~
Dragons can't resist a good challenge. When that challenge is delivered by a most irresistible female who also happens to be a knight of the very guild determined to eradicate dragon existence in the world, Sarkany is especially intrigued. But this new knight is something unusual for the guild - Miranda seems dedicated to her sense of justness instead of blindly devoted to the teachings of the guild. More than that, Sarkany finds himself drawn to the tiny human in ways he never expected...
I absolutely loved the pairing of Sarkany and Miranda! This eclectic match kept me on the edge of my seat as they worked to outwit each other at every step. But Fate or Cupid have outsmarted them both, and watching the sparks fly as these two extremely strong-willed characters go at it is more than exciting.
In Sarkany, the author delivers my favorite kind of dragon - the shape shifting kind, so to speak. You'll understand what I mean there when you read the book. Sarkany is everything he wants the world to think he isn't, but he can't hide his true self from the shrewd Miranda.
Miranda is an inspirational heroine. Although she starts off in this story doing all the wrong things for all the right reasons, she soon sees the error of her ways and works to make amends, doing what she thinks is right, no matter that it shatters her heart.
With its intriguing romantic leads, hotter than hot love scenes, and a great plot, KNIGHT'S CHALLENGE is sure to satisfy even the most insatiable dragon lovers!

I truly enjoyed reading this anthology. I love Bianca D'arc's dragon series, so of course I HAD to get this one. The other writers were amazing as well. Very well worth my money on this one, ladies.
Marie Harte is great!! May 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is really 4 and half stars. I base that solely on Marie Harte. Her story is wonderful I haven't even read the others. Every time I try I keep re-reading Marie's story, wish she wrote faster.

Well written erotica with passable storylines July 14, 2008 This was my first "erotica" novel. I enjoyed it, but hope to find more intriguing books in the future. The sex scenes were graphic and pretty well written, The Bianca D'Arc was probably my favorite.
