A Nice Coloring Book For Adults. September 8, 2005 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
Adults who enjoy coloring will like this coloring book very much. It has some beautiful tapestries to color, and it gives historical information as well. I suppose that kids might enjoy it, but I doubt they'd truly appreciate the historical aspect of what they were coloring.
Detail high and imagery excellent! April 18, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
As a history buff of what is often referred to as the Dark Ages, this Medieval Tapestries coloring book was a joy to find and to have. Marty Noble has done it again - provided adults with a quality coloring book full of images to color and to use as clip art, if desired. I am extremely pleased with the variety of tapestry selections and will enjoy using colored pencils in it as I recall that time period often forgot. The only minor negative is that the images are back-to-back, but luckily printed on quality thick paper.
great purchase October 13, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm glad I purchased this tapestry coloring book for my daughter when we studied Medieval times. She enjoyed coloring the detailed tapestries and has since noticed the real tapestries every time we go to a museum.
Gorgeous Detail February 24, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 8 yr old daughter has been enjoying highly detailed coloring books for about 4 years. The Dover Coloring Books have fabulous details perfect for use with colored pencils. After coloring the page it truly looks like a tapestry of color. We have used many coloring books over the years and this is truly one of the most beautifully detailed. Perfect for creative adults. This is a great creative gift for children 4+ along with a set of quality colored pencils. Great for staying amused on long plane rides.

Coloring book with attractive pictures. Detailed enough to be challenging for older children and adults.
