Must-have primer; better than Zune's own instructions August 6, 2007 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
The one-page pamphlet that comes with the Zune is simply insufficient for the novice. Zune for Dummies got me through the first week of trying to figure out how to do things that the Zune instructions don't get into. Zune is great for video, but Zune instructions don't tell you diddly! Zune for Dummies gets you going in the right direction.
No real Useful info September 8, 2007 11 out of 19 found this review helpful

OUTSTANDING - I'm not in the 11-29 group so I needed all the help I could get trying to bring my new Zune up to speed. This book is absolutely amazing - it worked and now so does my Zune. I am VERY delighted with both the book and my new Zune!!!
good but not great February 13, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this book for my 57 year old wife after she recieved a Zune 8GB player as a Christmas gift. The book has helped her understand the players capabilities to some extent, but it was written for the ealier Zune versions. She does like having the book as a reference, as opposed to sorting thru different screens of an on-line manual. Having the book and another experienced user to consult seems to be key for her. Overall, the book was worth the expense.
Has it all March 11, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book has it all. I had bought the pocket guide in store at Barnes & Noble as they didn't have a copy of Dummies. The pocket guide was mostly technical and did not tell you how to do much of anything. The Zune for Dummies book gets into everything you need to know in order to actually enjoy using your device. Specifics that were helpfull was video conversion, preferred settings, and links to many websites for downloadable content.
