The go-to book for tattoo removal June 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found this to be a great book. It's got a lot of information that's easily digestible. I needed to learn about my options quickly and this gave me all the right tools before I decided to consult a doctor.. I felt like I was on the same page as the dermatologist when I went into the office.
Definitely worth every dollar! April 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this book to get educated on all of my options on getting a tattoo removed. It was an enjoyable read despite the uncomfortable topic. It was thorough without being confusing. It is something I would recommend to everyone who is considering getting a tat or who may one day get it removed. I have looked for a book on this topic for awhile now, and I am highly pleased with this one! Thanks!

Complete guide to tattoo removal. Not!This book was a big disappointment. You can read this book in 15 minutes.I expected more information. The book is a good read if you're 14 years of age or younger. The author doesn't go into a lot of detail about tattoos. She is far too general in her descriptions. As far as being a complete guide,HaHa.She mentions laser removal, surgical excision and dermabrasion. That's it.I wanted more information on chemical peels.I don't know if she thinks chemical peels don't work but she didn't mention them. The book was published in 2007 and no mention of chemical peels. These were actually done before laser.Don't waste your money like I did.You can find more information on the Internet.
A definite MUST READ before GETTING or REMOVING a tattoo! November 29, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this book for my husband, who is thinking about getting his first tattoo (of our son's footprint on his arm). The book has a lot of advice regarding getting tattoos as well as removing them, so I wasn't disappointed. The author even states she didn't do enough research before getting her tattoo - it would have been easier to remove if she had.
This book contains a lot of much-needed info that is hard to find in one place anywhere else.
