Short on detail July 4, 2003 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, this clanbook, even at the time it was published, lacked detail and was not possessed of the highest production values - as Dragon magazine once put it, White Wolf took a long time passing Apprentice rank in the Sphere of Proofreading. However, it's not entirely without interest - still, if you're looking at this in 2003, you needn't even get it a second look, your dollars should go to Blood Magic (supreme!), House of Tremere (respectable), the new clanbook (not half bad), or Blood Sacrifice (unknown to me, but not really about Tremere).
Viva Tremere! February 5, 2000 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
This clanbook rocked! A must read for any serious fan of this wonderful clan of messed up magi. (Saulot had it coming, if you ask me.)
the Warlocks of the kafir March 2, 1999 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Warlocks, witches and wretched souls full of foul thoughts, the hexers of the Tremere have caused us great pain. Pay they shall, as they are the only hope of the munafiqun ever to overcome Haqim and his rafiq. But be aware, as thou shalt always know thy enemy and be careful not to let them know too much about thee. Drink the Blood and become One. Drink their wretched blood and seek vengeance for the Curse. Only an Ended Tremere is a good Tremere.-Uther Algaan, Assamite Elder
warlocks and the like May 9, 1999 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
gotta agree with the Assamite dude. When you see one of them warlocks, shoot them. If you can't shoot them burn'em. If you can't burn'em, run ! They mean trouble. Whenever one of them showed up in a bar I knew, the bar wouldn't be there the next morning. Dunno if it was them Assamites that flattened it to get the dude, or them Tremere that flattened it to get away. Don't matter, anyway. They know that the Assamites hate them to (Final) death. Ain't no way for them witches to walk around in their neighborhood. Gotta take whatcha can't change. the Marquis, vampire hunter and leech himself
Greatest VtM CB In Existence January 23, 1998 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have every single VtM and VtDA book that WW has ever made. And in my opinion, Tremere: The Price of Eternity is by far the greatest book. It includes detailed information about the clan Tremere. Tells about its history throughly, talks about the gargoyals, and many many other things. If you play a Tremere, you must have this book. In fact, even if you don't, you should get this book to get a wonderful insight into the greatest clan in existence.
