Bonesday is the Best Day July 7, 2007 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
Okay, so Bones? It's the best show ever. And second season was a fabulous season, a lot more character-based than the first season was. This season you really got to see more of the emotional side of Brennan, what with her father coming back (and then leaving again, and then coming back, and then leaving...) and being buried alive with Hodgins. Things with the Squints really heat up when Cam comes in--personally, I hate her, probably just because of her thing with Booth, yeah, I tend to hold a grudge--and the growing Hodgins/Angela relationship. And don't even get me STARTED on the sexual tension between Booth and Bones. It's so amazing. Really though, there are times when they're so close it kills me...I mean, like in Judas on a Pole, that "Hey, Bones, there's more than one kind of family..." and the almost-kiss had me squealing at the TV, and then yelling at it two seconds later when Zack inturrupts. Yep, I'm that obsessed.
This season also had some amazing episodes. Okay, so, they're all amazing--it's an amazing show. But I personally loved Judas on a Pole (who didn't?), Woman in the Sand (oh, the butt-slap...I think I was squealing my brains out), and Aliens in a Spaceship (she OBVIOUSLY wrote to Booth. Loved the end-- "I knew you wouldn't give up"). I loved the last scene of Blonde in the Game, when he gives her Jasper. My favorite scene ever. The season finale was fabulous, too--can't wait for the commentary on that from ED and DB, that should be hilarious. Glowing Bones in the Old Stone House was a really great episode too--somehow, before that, something was missing. But Glowing Bones got it back, and the Mac n Cheese scene was lovely. Gotta love David Boreanaz's ad-libbing there, the "I'd like to be alone with it". He's such a funny guy.
Needless to say, Season Two was amazing. Season One was amazing. "Bones" is amazing. So, watch the show. Buy the DVD.
Seriously. Pre-order it now. :-)

Whiel the first season of Bones was slightly imperfect, partly due to the real geekiness of its actors, it was a pleasure to watch. Fortunately with Season two the craetors have managed to make this an even better series. Boreanaz' stigma of having played Angel in the Buffy franchise is now completely gone and we can identify him with agent Booth completely. Bones social ineptitude is also put more on clear display this time. These are the two main things that mange to make the chemistry between them even stronger than last season.
Better and Better July 29, 2007 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I love this show. Dr. Brennan is lovely and intelligent (though rather obtuse with her social skills). Seely Boothe is witty, charming, and at the same time completely believable as a FBI agent. I must also add that I love Seely Boothe's black SUV with see-through lights! The computer special effects are amazing. The sets and locations are beautiful. I have both sets 1 and 2 of the DVDs. I hope they have a long run on TV.
I love the show....but..... September 6, 2007 7 out of 12 found this review helpful
I am a huge fan of this show and own the first season. However I'm a bit disappointed with FOX on the release of this "INCOMPLETE" season 2. Don't be misled by the "Complete Second Season" title. The episode "Player Under Pressure" is not on the episode list for this dvd. This episode contained a key plot line that many of us were upset when we watched the following week's episode. I've contacted FOX about this and to this day have not received a response. Perhaps the episode will appear on the set as an easter egg??? I don't know. But, am I suppose to forget that this episode never aired?? For this reason alone I'm giving this dvd 3 stars. If it was truly complete, I would have given 5 stars
Best Show On TV!!!! July 5, 2007 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This show has the best cast on TV. They are all very talented, and the chemistry between the two leads is incredible, and you can see it throughout the entire second season. This show gets better and better, can't wait for season 3!
