 Politics aside, this is a great calender November 9, 2004
I have bought this calender for three years straight now, and 2005's is by far the best. The pictures really do seem to get at some essential wild nature of cats, and I love having them on my wall all year.
The spaces to write things in are standard sized, and it is functionally as well as aesthetically a great calender.
 Beautiful photos, unreadable calendar January 3, 2007
I would give this calendar five stars -- except that I can't read it! It's a wall calendar, yet the days and dates are set in mice-type (small fonts)that I can't see from three feet away. This problem is compounded by the pale ink colors used. I have had to go through the whole calendar and write in the days and dates in black letters. What a shame. Now my pretty calendar is all ugly, but at least I know what day it is. I hope they will make it more readable and useful for next year.

I love this calendar! The photography is absolutley beautiful and it's printed on high quality paper stock. If you have any of Hans Silvester's books (if not...get them!) you will not be disappointed! If you're a cat lover...or know someone who is....this is the one to get!
This is the 6th year in a row that I've purchased this calendar. For the past 5 years I had been getting it from a book store in Vermont(this calendar isn't always easy to find!).....but when I was not able to get there this past December....it was Amazon.com to the rescue!
A landscape and its cats February 6, 2007
I buy this lovely wall calendar every year and am never disappointed. The photographs are of high quality and beautifully composed. What sets this calendar apart however, is how it aptly evokes those sundrenched landscapes that are so closely associated with cats.
