This book held me captive; I couldn't put it down even though it was difficult to read because of the honest depiction of the life of a meth addict. Thank-you Nic for sharing your life!

After reading Nic's father's book (Beautiful Boy) I felt compelled to read Nic's story. It was a great read- haunting at times but also uplifting. I enjoyed comparing Nic's point of view to his Dad's. For anyone who has an addict in the family, this book is a great way to understand what an addict's daily life is like and to get an idea of the emotional ups and downs they experience.

Excellent choice for families and persons suffering from the disease of drug addiction. This is the "child's" version, I would also recommend the "father's" version Beautiful Boy. Both have helped me accept and deal with my son's drug addiction and illness.
