Now this is more like it! This is the quality of work I expect from the fantastic Katie! I loved it, it was so much fun to read. Read it in one sitting. Great job! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

4 out of 5 stars A Nice Change   May 12, 2008

This was a nice departure from the usual Aisling/Drake dragon drama. I really like Gabriel's character and enjoyed reading about him for a change. I'm not sure how I feel about May, but it took me until the second Aisling book to like her, so I have a feeling I'll warm up to her eventually. The new direction for MacAlister in this series is a good idea, and I can't wait to read the next one.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed by Author   July 17, 2008

I am such a dragon fan I look for anything with the word in the title. That doesn't mean the characters don't have to be interesting or that I have to sacrifice an intriguing plot. Sorry, this just didn't hold my interest enough to even finish the book.

5 out of 5 stars Ga Ga for Gabriel!   May 6, 2008

Great book! I LOVE Katie's writing style and I loved it even more to see that you still get to see Aisling and Drake even though it's a book about Gabriel! I'm looking forward to Up in Smoke - the cliffhanger at the end of this one left me wanting more and more and more!!

5 out of 5 stars fire me up   May 9, 2008

i wasn't sure i was going to buy this holy smokes wasn't on par with the other books from her series now i am so glad i did. gabriel who we got to know in aisling's series in books 2-4 finally gets a mate. because of a curse from a black dragon a mate could not be born for a silver dragon but through a twist he got one in May. it was funny and definetly worth the read as the book leaves you hanging i can't wait for the next installment happy reading.
