Good Book and I recommend another also July 26, 2006 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a good book. It has a list and guidance for every medical school in the country. I used it with conjunction with another book avaliable at www. admissionsmystery. com, that book has great strategy advice on medical school admissions. This book has very accurate numbers combined in one source.
Informative. October 11, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is well organized (grouping schools by state), and lays out all of the specs that "at a glance" profiles leave out. It's a good tool to use before visiting websites and digging deeper into what each school has to offer. I'd recommend it highly.
Comprehensive Med school Info August 12, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book gives you the overall view of all the medical schools in the US as well as Canada. It includes the general requirements, range and average MCAT scores of the accepted class of 2005 and also characteristics of student body. Very useful for those who are doing research on where to apply.
A Good Beginning August 25, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The MSAR is a good beginning to sifting through the many choices when applying to medical school. It is a most useful tool if you have identified desired qualities that you want in your med school of choice. Howerver, it's likely that you'll need more information once you've narrowed field.
