4 out of 5 stars great author   May 27, 2008

As usual, John Sandford gives us his wonderful detective Lucas Davenport, albeit this time with an unusual villain. I always eagerly await this series for its sharply written characters and on point locales.

I love John Sanford and he never fails to deliver with his books!!

It is always a treat to get one of his books and I have a hard time putting them down once I do get one.

Have read and enjoyed all the Prey series. I like the Lucas Davenport character and enjoy his little flaws. He seems real to me and look forward to the next book.

5 out of 5 stars Thank you for more of the Prey...   May 31, 2008

I have read all the Prey series and was so happy to find that Sandford had a new edition. There certainly was no disappointment, either. I loved it, as I love the character of Lucas. Development was good, with a multi faceted plot. If you are a fan of the Prey series, you must read this!

5 out of 5 stars Suspenseful   June 1, 2008

As usual John Sandford and led us on a suspenseful chase. This one even chilled me a little. And that takes some, believe me. I also love the the humor he throws in. Had me chuckling out loud a few times and that can be a little embarrassing when you are sitting outside in your backyard all by yourself and people are walking by. I also like his taste in music. He should put out soundtracks, smile. All and all a very good read. Loved it!!
