Writing and I have always gotten along. Writing is not something I do; it's something I am. Ever since I can remember, words just seemed to flow easily and effortlessly from my pen to the seemingly blank piece of paper. And yet I had friends who hated writing. It frustrated them and bothered them. The blank sheet of paper was a symbol of horror and not an opportunity to express oneself. To this day, I welcome the blessing that is a blank sheet of paper or a blank computer screen. I expect words to move through me like magic. I expect to feel a deep sense of happiness while in the process. I am literally creating a "story" in my mind why I love writing and every time I write, I am "proving" my story to be true.
I am telling you all of this because I am about to lay a bomb on you; we are always telling ourselves stories about EVERYTHING in our lives.
In this incredible new book by Abraham, Money and the Law of Attraction, she...he...they...whoever the heck Abraham is, says something in this book that hit me like a ton of frickin' bricks:
"The Law of Attraction is not responding to the reality that you are currently living and perpetuating, but it is responding to the vibrational patterns that are emanating from you. So as you begin to tell the story of who you are - in relationship to money - from the perspective of what you desire rather than from the perspective of what you are currently living, your patterns of thoughts will shift and so will your point of attraction..."
And then Abraham proceeds with examples of how an old story surrounding money might sound and then an example of how a new "script" of money might sound and after reading the new script...the new story...I literally had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes because it was just so incredibly moving. I received this very clear realization that we are always asking ourselves what the things that appear our lives mean and then immediately we access the file in our minds for the "appropriate story" as to what this might mean. It doesn't mean that it is true, but it's the one that we believe (at the moment) true for us.
And it's not just money we tell stories about. You may even be telling yourself a story as to why the Law of Attraction doesn' work. You may tell yourself, "Oh, it's a scam...a rip off...they're telling people things they want to hear...it doesn't work, I tried it once... I should've saved my money, etc." But you see? You're telling yourself stories as to why the Law of Attraction doesn't work proving that it does work by appearing not to work.
We tell ourselves stories ALL the time about why we are fat, lazy, unemployable, undersexed, oversexed, broke, etc. Michael Phelps, the Olympic swimmer that broke Mark Spitz' 36 year old record had to tell himself a story at one time that he was a good swimmer. Then he told himself he was a great swimmer. Then he had to tell himself that he could possibly be the greatest swimmer in the world. And because he was so convinced of his story, he became just what he thought about. It doesn't mean he stopped practicing, what it means is that his practices probably became something he looked forward to. I'm not saying that Michael Phelps believes in this stuff...he doesn't have to...he proved that it works and every day of our lives we are proving what we believe to be true. Haven't you ever heard someone say (maybe you), "Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it..."
Maybe the stories that we are "sticking to" don't support us anymore. Maybe...just maybe...we can create a new script and the SAME POWER that manifested our old reality is the exact SAME POWER that can bring forth our new reality. But just like Michael Phelps, we must be willing to get our feet wet. This Law of Attraction stuff is not hard, it's just different. It's about becoming more aware of what you are feeling at any given time and what you are feeling is what you are creating.
I have a feeling about you. I have a feeling that you really do want a better life and why do you want a better life, because no matter how great our lives may be at the moment, they can always be even greater. I'm not saying to not be happy. I'm saying just the opposite. Be happy...be happiness itself...and allow that which you desire come forth.
This book is treasure and it is indeed worth every penny.

I totally agree with a previous very helpful review saying that this is the best book by Esther, Jerry Hicks & Abraham, even better than their classic "Ask and It Is Given" book, one of my favorites.
I did read hundreds of prosperity books, plus all The Secret marketing follow-up cash-caws books during the last 3 years, plus I personally knew half of movie's personalities, but something still was missing in my life, my financial prosperity success was very elusive, simply because I did focus too much on the "lack of it", fear, worry, impatience, something for nothing ...
With deep gratitude and appreciation, reading this book and listening to the CD night & day, I did feel that someting clicked deep inside me finally and I did change my inner focus to more freedom, growth and joy, seeing quickly abundant financial results in just 3 days already, plus that all the continous progress: it gets better and better, WOW,
IT WORKS!
For the one who believes no explanation is necessary, for the one who won't believe no explanation is possible ...
Highly recommeded: if possible I would rate it more than 5 STARS,
because it changes lives, at a much deeper level than The Secret!
PS: As a health consultant, I coach people with advanced cellular nutrition and weight loss, after losing myself 110 pounds during last 1-2 years, and I just want to quickly add that the book's advice on weight management, health issues, careers is very sound, right on the money; one section is better than another, with very deep issues explained in great details.
Overall, this book is a masterpiece, enjoy and offer it as a precious gift to all your friends & family!

This review refers to the audio CD set. I am a HUGE fan of the Abraham-Hicks materials but this CD set missed the mark for me. It lacked the energy and synergy created in their audio workshops between the participants asking questions and Esther-Abraham answering the questions. The format is Jerry asking a question or making a statement and Esther-Abraham responding. Jerry's voice sounded a little grating (I never noticed that before) and Esther sounded like she was reading instead of allowing Abraham to speak through her. I strongly suggest their earlier book "Ask and It Will Be Given". It gives a comprehensive understanding of the Law of Attraction (LOA) and includes wonderful activities. I also strongly suggest the book "Parallel Universes of Self" by Frederick E. Dodson and Gary Craig's EFT techniques at [...] as complimentary materials on manifesting.

I have this book on CD & in paperback, one for the car & one for the coffee table. I have only got to CD 4 but was compelled to write this review because I am so impressed that this book could out do the others. Having said that there is much to be learned by the earlier books this one is just the icing on the cake. The earlier books prepared the ground work & this one sums it all up nicely. I especially liked hearing (book on CD) the interraction between Jerry & Abraham (Esther) it provided soothing simplified guidance. As they pointed out there is repetition, but it is not boring, it merely sends the message home that this is not meant to be hard work it is an adjstment to the way we have all been programmed to think. Now it is time for us to write our own programs.
My word for when I feel in complete harmony with my inner source is feeling mystical, that knowledge that nothing is impossible, there are no limitations to what I can be, do or have. I love that feeling.
I am going to one of their workshops again next week which I am really looking forward to, & I would suggest to anyone who has not been, to look for a workshop near you because just being there is so rewarding.

There is no doubt that Esther and Jerry Hicks, and Abraham have, over the past twenty years, presented a radical new way of looking at our lives. I'm so grateful to all that the three of them have done. That said I was disappointed in Money, and the Law of Attraction because it is basically a compilation of material that has been previously published. The same processes (For example, The Wallet Process, The Pivoting Process, and The Book of Positive Aspects Process can be found in previously published Abraham material) I was expecting some new insight regarding money, and was quite surprised to find that I had read the material before. If I was a long time Abraham fan, I wouldn't buy this book, however someone new to Abraham would find it very worthwhile.
