Review of A Sister's Hope July 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
A Sister's Hope is the third book in the Sisters of Holmes County series. All three books give an outstanding look at life in the Amish community, not just the practices, but also the "heart" of the people. I loved the story line that was woven through all three books, and definitely the "surprise" ending. Wanda Brunstetter is a master story teller, and keeps the reader engaged with the hearts and lives of the characters. A definite must-read.
A great book! July 25, 2008 I enjoyed reading this book. I love the Amish stories and this one was just as intresting as the other ones in this series. Wanda Brunstetter is a wonderful writer, and draws you into the lives of the Amish people.
Nicely finished out July 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Martha is the spunkiest and most likeable of the three sisters. Wraps up the other two books nicely.

I could wait to find out the mistery who want to harm this family. All of the girls found there true love. It was sad to learn that a person who was like in the community, wanted to hurt this family.
He was always one of the first to arrive when something happen to the family. There were no stone unturn, you would think a neighbor watching the house, many mysteries.
I have tried to get my husband to read these books. Because they weren't just for women. I had bought a book, I was looking for it he had it, I told him he needed to go to the beginning of the books so he would be able to follow the stories.
Wanda I waiting for your next book. Linda

WONDERFULLY WRITTEN, WANDA IS MY FAVORITE AUTHOR. HER BOOKS WRITTEN SO THAT YOU CAN'T PUT THE BOOKS DOWN, KEEPS YOU WANTING MORE. VERY INFORMATIVE OF THE AMISH WAYS. I GAVE ONE OF WANDA'S BOOKS TO A FRIEND IN THE SOUTH AND SHE SAID THAT IT TAUGHT HER SO MUCH ABOUT THE AMISH LANGUAGE AND WHAT SOME WORDS MEAN. JUST THINGS SHE NEVER KNEW ABOUT THE AMISH.IT HELPED ME AS WELL SINCE I HAVE AMISH ANCESTRY, BUT DID NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF SOME WORDS,ETC. ELLEN-LANCASTER, PA
