I bought this book because I wish for the Goldman Family to receive the money they should have recieved from the OJ Civil Suit. Sadly, it will not raise their son, bleeding and stabbed to death from the ground of Nicole Brown's condo garden walkway. I will burn this book and not read it. It was clear to me from "both trials" OJ savagely murdered both Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Unfortunately, the Goldman family can't get "prison type" of justice but perhaps they can get "finanical justice"!
Someone Needs To Make His Alter Ego Suffer!!!!! September 16, 2007 45 out of 87 found this review helpful
If anyone needs to get squashed into the ground, it's O.J. If you believe he is innocent you need to take a refresher course in common sense & brain power. Let's face it, this trial was all about race, not justice. Did anyone, anyone stop to think about the fact that Nicole's throat was slashed from left to right as a right hander would do; however, he stated he got the cut on his left hand by slamming down a glass in his hotel room with his LEFT HAND and cutting that left finger on the outside. Anyone with any common sense would know he cut the outside of that left finger in a frenzy while slashing Nicole's throat. All you disbelievers who say he is innocent need to try this as an experiment for yourself as I know of NO ONE who would use their left hand if they were right handed to do this, not only when angry, but even when calm. WE ALL USE OUR DOMINANT HAND, ESPECIALLY WHEN ANGRY! Think about it, defenders of a killer. Also, think about the fact that getting rights to the book and hitting him where it hurts the most (including his alter ego) is all they can do. All they want is to make his lifestyle harder to finance. I say to the Goldman's.........GET HIM ANYWAY YOU CAN & then, in the end, he'll pay, maybe not in this world, but when he gives up space for a decent person.
Don't buy it! September 17, 2007 43 out of 100 found this review helpful
If you did not have the chance to download this "book" for free before the Goldmans got the "ownership" - DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON IT. There is no "killer's confessions", there is nothing new and this is not a literary work. The Goldmans stopped this book to be published initially on ethic grounds, now is OK (with Goldman references that this "is a book for each abused women out there"). Why wasn't before? The main reason that you shouldn't spend your money on this book is that it doesn't contains anything new or incriminates OJ more than the transcripts of the trial. "Confessions of a killer" is just a childish try to make it sensational with no results at all.
This is shameful September 16, 2007 34 out of 87 found this review helpful
People should have listened very closely to Oprah Winfrey when the Goldmans were on her show. This simply is not a book that should be read or purchased. The Goldman family said they PUBLISHED this book to TAKE IT AWAY from OJ. All they had to do to "take the book away" from OJ was to obtain the rights to publish this book -- which they did obtain. There was never a reason for this trash to end up in print.
The Goldmans: An American Story September 16, 2007 32 out of 151 found this review helpful
This poor book was consigned to oblivion after the Goldmans---father and sister of Ron Goldman---raised public consciousness of its hideous nature: a narrative by O.J. Simpson of how he would have killed Ron Goldman and Simpson's former wife, Nicole Simpson, "if" he had done it. The public reacted sympathetically finding that this was too cruel to the Goldmans and Denise Brown, Nicole's sister and that it was a taunt no respectable publisher should enable. After the publication was canceled, the Goldmans did a pirouette, obtained the rights to the book and published it.
