Perfect for those not already part of the Revolution April 20, 2008 40 out of 45 found this review helpful
This book is eloquent and very well thought out. It's perfect for any one to get a quick and easy grasp of the fundamental changes Ron Paul demands of our country - and it's cheap enough to distribute widely to friends and family!
His words are so clear and concise they leave no room for legitimate opposing arguments. Anyone who reads this and gives the ideas a sincere and honest look will be forever changed.

I have followed Dr. Paul for many years. Sadly, he is a voice in the wilderness. We seem to be under a spell of mass insanity perpetuated by the mass media and our leaders where anything and everything is out in the open except the truth. And anyone who dares to speak the truth is ridiculed and marginalized. I have seen Dr. Paul insulted and belittled by people not fit to breath the same air and it makes me ashamed of my country and the people in it. I can only pray that enough uninformed but well meaning people manage to find and read and understand this book - and it ain't hard stuff - but Americans seemed to have their ears stuffed with cotton - or Ipods. As long as we have our American Idol and our Burger King and our other distractions, who cares that this Titanic of a country is headed for an iceberg? After this primary season and seeing the way Ron Paul's campaign was undermined by the media and trivialized by talking heads, I fear for my country. For the first time in my life time we were given a chance to make a choice that mattered and for the first time we were given a chance to vote for a person who remembers what it meant to be an American. For the first time we were given a chance to restore this country - and we pissed on it. God knows what the future will hold, but unless the people of this country miraculously wake up, we are doomed.
Reclaiming Liberty April 20, 2008 38 out of 45 found this review helpful
Dr. Ronald Paul's "The Revolution: A Manifesto" will be to regaining our liberty what Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" was in initially securing it!
Bravo and thank you Dr. Paul!
Last Bastion of Hope? April 15, 2008 34 out of 46 found this review helpful
I believe the only reason Ron Paul has not been assassinated to date is because he has not become a big enough threat to the powers that be.
From his new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto...
"This much is true: you have been lied to, robbed, and used by your own government - the people you elected into office and the people you should be able to trust."
What Ron Paul doesn't tell us, of course, is that the people elected to office are not the power behind the thrown. Politics is a game, and it's played at our expense. So long as each citizen follows along with eyes closed, concerned about his or her own petty world, ignoring the larger arena in which we all suffer, there can be no revolution. And at this point in the game, without a revolution, freedom cannot survive.
This is the urgent message to America... that freedom is not FREE but must be won... and won before it's too late. Beyond a certain point in the game, only internal revolution will work. We are now at that point.
America will not see the likes of Ron Paul in future elections unless the powers that be are broken. These power heads do not suffer truth bearers lightly, something America should have learned from the assassination of JFK.
Ron Paul, speaking truthfully on the economy, terrorism, foreign policy, the war on drugs, the housing bubble, the Federal Reserve, civil liberties, and everything else in between, may be the last bastion of hope available to a nation whose people wallow in ignorance of the juggernaut that swiftly races to crush them.
I urge you to get a copy of this book. Forewarned is forearmed. Take advantage of the reading list at the back of the book; learn the truth of Ron Paul's assertions. And if it's not too late already, take up the cause of freedom.

...absolutely stunning..... April 21, 2008 31 out of 33 found this review helpful
Just wow, this book pulls no punches. Well written and concise enough for even casual readers. I will be picking up multiple copies for the "conservatives" in my family, who really dont know what being a conservative means nowadays.
"truth is treason in the empire of lies" - strong words that ring true. This book might well be the most important writings concerning the farce that passes for politics today. Ron Paul is an amazing man, and its a shame that more politicians arent of his caliber.
