Definately a Pleasure September 11, 2007 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
At first I didn't realized that there were 3 stories. The book started out with "What she wants" with Kit in the middle of two awesome guys, Ryder and Mac. I fell in love with Ryder right away because I love those carefree dominate male alpha type of guys. Guys who don't wear his emotions on his sleeves. Those guys who you trust to stand behind you and hold you tight through rough times but yet doesn't overcrowd you. I adore Ryder way more then Mac. Mac would be the type of guy who would suffocate me with his over emotional feelings. When "What She Wants" ended, I was mad, disappointed, sad. I didn't really want to continue but I was already in the zone of reading. Thank goodness I read! "What She Needs" was such an emotional roller coaster for me. I "awwed" and I smiled, then I cried. I understand Kit so much better in this one then in "What she Wants". "What she Needs" was definately the right ending. Ryder is the type of hero I want to keep reading about.
Mia appeared in "What She Needs" as a friend of Ryder. I adored her right away and knew she was a vulnerable girl. I can't say I adore her own story "What she Craves" all that much. It's a good story tho.
All in all, the girls were sweet, the men were hot (even Mac and Jack), and the scenes were even hotter! "What she Needs" is the only reason why this book recieved a 5 stars from me. Without it, I would give it a 3.

I loved reading this book so much that I finished it in two sittings. I did the first two stories at once (since they're connected) then hobbled out of bed (I read in an awkward position and ended up hurting my back for three days... that's book love, right there) for a break and finished the third.
I loved the emotion and tension and I'm sucker for stories where the hero (or heroes as the case may be) have to save the heroine from emotional danger as well as physical.
This book reaffirmed what I already knew, I love Maya Banks. She's my new fav.
triple digit heat September 4, 2007 3 out of 11 found this review helpful
"What She Wants". Travis "Mac" Townsend and Ryder Sinclair worry about their woman Kit Townsend. Although they agreed to no commitments with her, the two male buddies were not there for her when she was sexually attacked; the assault has taken away some of the elan from this vibrant spirited female who already had trust issues. Mac especially fells he failed her, as he knows he loves her more than just a sex friend; he wants to commit to her, but fears she will run.
"What She Needs". Ryder is not stupid as he sees the love between his two best friends is different than how she feels towards him. Ryder knows he loves Kit, but she loves Mac; he will always be her "brother". That is until the tragic accident has the trio opening their eyes to their interrelationships.
"What She Craves". Mia Nichols fell in love with Jack Kincaid, but after a one night stand he vanished and she realized to her regret she don't know Jack. Two years later, she is in deep trouble when Jack, who never forgot her, returns to the rescue.
The three novellas are interrelated as Jack appears in "What She Needs". The erotic tales include strong sex scenes (menage a trois, anal sex, BDSM, etc.), and even more graphic violence against women scenes. The lead men are heroic, but the two prime females must have IQs in negative numbers as they lack common sense. Still fans who prefer torrid temperatures can bank on this interrelated collection to generate triple digit heat.

A Really Great Book June 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great story, great strong alpha males, great sex. What more could a woman want? Its one of those rare books that grip you from begining to end, it really pulls you into the story and you become emotionally involved. Thank you Maya, its another winner. I loved it. There is some great reading about at the moment, check out 100 Percent Erotica and Wild, Wicked, & Wanton (Berkley Heat) Both great reads.
Great story and Hot too! November 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really liked this book. It is well written and I really fell in love with the characters. I like the idea of the 2 stories overlapping each other. There is suspense, sex, love and hot guys.....what else could you ask for. Much better written than her previous book.
