Naomi-Ian November 19, 2000 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I loved the Naomi-Ian story. The reason why I liked this story in particular was because the characters are basically nice, likable (likeable?) people. Sure, Nora Roberts makes the MacGregor's lives too good to be true, and it is a fairy tale in that respect. But, really, the good thing about these characters is that they want the same thing everybody else in life wants, or most people in life want. They just want to share their life with somebody and have children, and enjoy nice things. It's really as simple as that. I liked this story because it just promoted the simple, basic things people like in life. The characters weren't flashy or overly philosophical. They were just fundamentally good people. A lot of times you don't feel like rooting for certain characters in stories because they are mean, or the book makes it look cool to be mean, but in this story, I felt that I could really vote for the main characters. A nice read.

I absolutely loved this book. The MacGregor series is so great, that I can't wait to read these books. I absolutely loved this book, but I will admit, I thought Ian and Naomi's story was a little slow, but it turned out very nicely. I would definitely buy this book and read it again (which I plan on doing) many times over. Nora Roberts has got to be one of the best, if not the best romance novelest ever.

Any book by Nora Roberts you can always say it's going to be awesome. I haven't come across one yet, and I've read at least 15, where I want to put that book down after starting.
She's done it again! January 21, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nora keeps adding to the MacGregor clan and I love it! It is so funny and charming! Anyone who doesn't like it would not know a good book if it kicked them in the arse! I love you Nora!

This is the first book I have ever read in the Nora Roberts sequel and I find it was really interesting. It encouraged me to go out and get all the other MacGregor Clans. I would recommend these books to anyone, if ever they ask me what I think about it. I just like the way how Daniel MacGregor sets his traps for his grandsons and I can't wait to read about the traps he sets for his granddaughters.
