Delightful and informative May 14, 2008 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful book! The question and answer format is one that has long been needed for this kind of subject. Examples of two of the questions: "Are we still married to our spouses on the Other Side?" "How is it that the dead, in spirit form, can manipulate material objects on this side?" I had long wondered about the latter, and her answer made perfect sense to me. Concetta does an excellent job of explaining the basics of the afterlife and reincarnation, in a gentle and fun way. I have long believed in what she says, but still enjoyed reading her answers. This is the perfect book to introduce someone to the Afterlife and reincarnation.
Easy To Read, Fun To Talk About, Concetta Is A True Find! April 2, 2008 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a great book for those of you unfamiliar with mediums and exploring the other side of life and death and everything in between. I come from a catholic background so the skeptical side definetely exist in me. As I was taught growing up, when you die, if you are good you go to heaven, if you are bad you go to that other place. Well, I have to say that there is a place where our loved ones go and Concetta Bertoldi knows exactly how to bring them back to us, and she does this ever so cleverly. She puts everything into perspective without pushing her faith or spirit on you. She is clear and to the point with an easy to read question and answer book. She takes you deep into her world and you will find that you will not want to put the book down once you start reading it. I found it great because there is no beginning, and there is no end, and at times I found myself just reading the first entry I would open up to. This is purely reading without pressure; no characters to follow, no story to understand, just a fun filled journey to a place we are all curious about, but could never seem to quite understand. Her short stories are fun to read, her battles with her mother-in-law make you know she is just like the rest of us, and her wit and humor pop right out at you.
I have had the privilege of seeing Concetta do her thing in person and her audience is always captivated, her presence is immediately felt and her feel good personality puts you immediately at ease. She can bring a crowd to tears and moments later explode in laughter, as her charm takes over the stage, making you feel as if you have known this woman forever. The hope and love extended to you makes you see that Concetta is a real person and not just an act. This is someone who will make you think twice in what truly lies beyond the limits of this tiny world we live in. This all shines through in this book and you will have fun talking about it with your friends and family; I highly recommend.
Interesting Reading March 24, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a very good book for anyone who has questions about friends/relatives who have passed on. While this can be a very depressing topic, the author manages to keep things light-hearted and positive. I found the book to be quite comforting and believe my loved ones are in a far better place and don't want those of us left behind to mourn them. They want us to get on with our life and they'll be there with us throughout the journey.
Didn't want it to end. April 5, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I just loved this book. I didn't want to put it down and I didn't want it to end. It made me think and want more answers. I hope she comes out with another book that tells even more.
I feel much better now May 4, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This book really is A MUST READ for anyone who is wondering about their loved ones who have passed on. It also made me less afraid of death. When she talks about her brother and his story I learned more than I thought I would about what the spirit continues to learn after leaving here. I wish that I had her ability... I think it's awesome! There is a reason she has this gift and I am thankful she shared all of her knowledge with us in this book.
