REVIEW UPDATE:
My previous review was based on the first version of this product. The new version has a Velcro backing that prevents the transmitter from falling out (that was my only complaint before). This is a MUST HAVE for anyone who is Nike+Nano user but doesn't necessarily wear Nike shoes.

OLD REVIEW:
For those of us who don't or can't wear Nike shoes this is a great little item. I under-pronate when I run and wear a particular model of Asics.
The only complaint I may have is that over time this pouch expands a little and gets loose. I've temporarily lost my transmitter a couple of times. A small piece of tape on the backside solves the problem. Without this...a 5*.

I have had my shoe pouch for several months and LOVE IT!!! I had originally purchased Nike+ shoes so I could easily use my chip and hated them as i usually end up disliking the fit of Nike shoes. I was so happy to find the shoe pouch and go back to my Asics :o) I just ordered 2 more for my husband and best friend. Spread the word this is a great product!

I have both Nike plus shoes and Asics that I use when training. I am so happy that I found this shoe pouch. I was a little skeptical at first, but a coworker recommended it, and it was so inexpensive, I figured it was worth a try. My biggest concern was that the sensor wouldn't record the speed and distance as accurately in the pouch as it would in my nike plus shoes. To my surprise, I found that, for me, the sensor gave a more accurate reading in the pouch than in my shoe. When I run with my Nike plus shoes, the sensor tends to be a little generous. When I run with the pouch, the speed is right on. I use a treadmill to verify the accuracy, and I've tested it at a brisk walk, light jog, and full run. I agree with the comment that said you have to undo your laces to remove the pouch, but I'd rather be slightly inconvenienced when putting the sensor in or out than find out midway through a run that a clip on version fell off at some point. I'll take security and accuracy over convenience.

I received my neon green shoe pouch today and I love it!! The sensor fits perfectly and the pouch attaches to your shoe through your laces. I had it laced in and ready to go in less than 3 minutes. I am so grateful for this product because I can't wear Nike shoes and yet I really wanted the Nike+. Having the sensor slide around in my shoe while I ran was extremely annoying so getting this pouch was a perfect solution to my dilemma!! You can't go wrong with the available colors, either!!

The shoe pouch for the Nike +, I purchased because I was tired of buying the expensive Nike + shoes to track my walking and jogging. I love my Nike +, I use it all the time. The shoe pouch seems to be pretty acurate, I love the fact that I can buy ANY kind of running shoe and not just the Nike brand. If you are tired of buying the expensive Nike + shoes and not having such a great selection for your feet, then this shoe pouch is definitely for you!
