| Customer Reviews:
Great watch with a learning curve May 5, 2008 I've been very pleased with this watch in that it's sporty but not manly and is very versatile. I can wear it to work or out casually as it goes with most attire. Since I travel between the east and west coasts, the dual time zone feature is great. I'm new to running which is why I got the watch, and I like the chrono feature and use the alarm regularly, but I haven't been able to figure out the best use of the other features as the directions are not user friendly and setting the functions is not intuitive. That aside, I'm very happy with the product and found I got great value for the price.
Great Watch! May 5, 2008 Love this watch! I use it nearly every day during my marathon training. It's perfect for timed intervals, stores up to 50 workouts, and has 3 alarms to ensure I get out of bed and on the trails when I'm less that inspired to roll out of bed. The strap actually fits my narrow wrist, which is hard to do, and since it's not fabric, it doesn't get damp and stinky after a run or swim. The only drawback is that the beeps are a little soft as compared to those on past Timex watches I've owned, but overall I would really recommend this model. It's a bargain for the price!
Timex Ironman Triathlon Watch May 8, 2008 Received quickly from Amazon. For a button-challenged, programming-challenged person, the way to set starts and splits is a little hard to figure out. Most of the watches that set for starts and splits are this way. It looks great, though. I wear it with dress-up clothes as well as when I'm running. Very light and comfortable.
Great for Runners/Swimmers May 18, 2008 This watch is the greatest watch I've ever owned! Every day during track and field practice my coaches and team mates all rely on the interval timers. I also make use of the watch for swimming intervals, as well as using it as a stop watch for races. Great buy!
excellent May 19, 2008 This is an ideal watch for those athletically minded. I decided to purchase the Women's version because of my smaller size, but it has not affected my manhood any! The features on the watch are especially for those training in longer distance running. You can find an interval timer along with regular chronometer.I'm still learning what this mini computer can do. Perhaps the only drawback on this is the stop/start button which is a little difficult to activate, and might have been better placed on the outside of the watch.
