He's The Best! May 2, 2005 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Man, this would have a five star rating if it weren't for the guy who (how I have no Idea) gave this a one... especially based on Rodney himself and not the album...(which I don't even own yet...) but I have every single one of his other albums and I have to say, Rodney is the funniest comedian I have ever heard, but that is just my opinion... He's not really racist, if he was I wouldn't be listening to him because I can't stand racism... this is just the best redneck comedy out there, period. If you are a fan of Foxworthy (I am) or Ron White (guilty)... you need to check out Rodney, he will turn out no doubt to be your fave... But I recommend strongly starting out with "Morning Wood" it's the best place to start with Rodney, it's where I started, and I don't look back. Without fail, I can listen to Rodney Carrington nomatter how bad a mood I'm in and it always cheers me up... truly a great , and way underated artist... let alone if Rodney was a professional country singer he would be up there with the best of em'... Just my kind of country, if ya ask me.
One of the best comedy greatest hits cd August 4, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This CD has to be one of the best greatest hits package for a comedian since Jeff Foxworthy's Double wide... CD/DVD set. The only thing that's missing here is a dvd with concert footage of Rodney and maybe a couple of his music videos like "Dancing with a man" and "Fred". If you like southern comedy, buy this CD, It's Awesome!
Finally the greatest hits!! March 15, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Rodney Carrington is the funniest country comedian to date. Sure Jeff Foxworthy is funny, but he is no match for Rodney. The best songs on this are: Titties and Beer and Letter to my Penis. This man is a comedy God. His skits are funny as anything. I would reccomend this cd to anyone who is interested. True he may not be for everyone. He can be a bit vulgar at times and a bit disgusting. But if you are willing to take a walk on the wild side, buy this record and listen to it over and over again. You will laugh your ass off. I'm not just saying this because he lives in Oklahoma and so do I, I'm saying this because it is true. Plus he was born in Texas! But back to the subject at hand, truly get this cd and listen to it. I reccomed it to anyone who will listen.
I have NEVER laughed so hard in my life! April 20, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had heard Rodney on XM Comedy, and decided to buy into his albums. Best place to start is right here. He had me laughing hard enough to wet myself (I didn't). Think of Tim Wilson with the foulest mouth you ever heard, and some of the funniest stuff ever performed! I'm buying ALL of his albums now. ALL OF THEM!
