Probably shouldn't expect better at about $4, but the cord separates from the clasp very easily. Only lasted a couple of weeks. I can probably repair it myself but it is a hassle. I'd suggest anyone who buys this should put a few stiches through the leather and base of the clasps to make the necklace stronger.

I ordered this necklaces to wear with a large 'whale tail' pendant (authentically, they are worn on leather necklaces). Not only is this chain cheaper than most braided leather chains you will find elsewhere, it is of a nice quality. Looks great, and is a sizeable thickness. Style is noticed much more by my peers then if I were wearing just a straight leather necklace. Claw clasp is tight, and length sits slightly longer than a choker on the average person (unless your neck is rather thick). I highly suggest this necklace.
