Seven7 Jeans Junior's Wide Leg Jean July 9, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I love the details on back pockets so much. True to size and feel so comfy as the quality is great. The inseam is around 33". You'll love all the details on these. Cute!
Junior sizing: 25=0, 26=1/2, 27=3/4, 28=5/6, 29=7/8, 30=9/10, 31=11/12, 32=13/14.
They're OK July 21, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I normally wear a 7 in jrs but a 2 or 4 in womens, so when I read over the other reviews I was really at a loss for which size to get. Yes, I probably should have done my own research on UK sizes but the jeans are only $18 and yes, I was too lazy to do that. So I ordered a 28, since it sounded like the jeans run a little "big"??? So you can probably imagine just how nervous (and fat) I felt as I pulled the jeans out of the packaging to see a big tag that read: UK 28/US 5.
As I put the donut down and headed straight for the treadmill, I immediately stuffed the jeans into a corner for another day. Well, 4 days after I got the jeans I finally got the nerve to try them on, and yeah, they fit. Personally, I think they may run a tiny bit big (I mean, they ARE "wide leg") b/c I know I'm not a size 5 and there's no way I had lost any weight in the past few days. And of course, their length is only meant for Brasilian super models. I know, I know: get them hemmed. But did you read the part where I'm LAZY????
Overall, I guess they're OK (what can you expect for $18???). And just so this is clear; they are NOT "the" Seven Jeans for All Mankind as those are a couple hundred dollars, and I would not be ordering anything that pricey online without having tried them on in a store first. They're cute on the leggy (probably Brasilian) model in the pic, but I won't know how they look on me for sure till I get at least 3 inches lopped off the length....and that could be another 3-4 months from now!
These jeans are HOT HOT HOTTTTTTT! June 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE these jeans by Seven7! I ordered a 29, which I normally wear a 9 in Juniors and they fit Perfectly. The more fitted thigh area and wide leg below the knee means they'll compliment your body better, balance it out. These are made of REAL denim material too, the heavier stuff, not that cheap, thin denim that knockoff brands use. Mine look distressed and even have a small "run" on the thigh, very authentic. These are a GREAT deal at $24. BUY THEM!!!
A bargain at twice the price - at least for the moment when styles change! March 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Oh my goodness -- if you want to make your teen fall to the floor and twitch (entertaining all by itself), order a pair of these jeans. These are one of the hottest brands out there right this very moment (which might change in ten seconds), and your teenaged daughter wants them. Big time. My teenaged daughter, who usually isn't into brand names, freaked when I asked if she would like a pair of "Seven Jeans." She waited for the UPS man to arrive each day, and when the box came, she tore right into it. Unfortunately, there was a disappointment because of size. (You are going to have to guess at the sizing, because the first pair I bought ran incredibly small, and the second ran incredibly big.) but when you get the size right, you'll be a hero.
My kid reported that other girls looked at her jeans with jealousy, which made her day; and one had the nerve to ask where she got jeans that cost hundreds of dollars. My kid then bought the second pair herself. :-) Amazon carries several styles of Seven7 jeans, all at prices that I am almost willing to pay, which is a whole lot less than the local mall wants to charge.
Oh yes, the quality of the item, beyond the status? They are a pair of reasonably well made jeans, a medium weight denim with no hanging threads or signs of poor workmanship. They ran very slightly during their first ride in the washing machine, which is what I have come to expect from new jeans. The sizing was a terrible problem -- if you purchase a pair with "American Sizing," sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, etc.; the jeans run normal to a bit large, size-wise. If you purchase a pair with "European Sizing", 24, 25, 28, etc., these jeans run very small, and my size ten daughter barely fit into the largest size offered. No matter - they brought such joy it was worth a couple of exchanges.
Great, and I didn't think the size was confusing. September 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I see that there was confusion over size, but I didn't see why. I have a 27 inch waist, bought the them in size 27, and they were perfect. I usually wear a size 4, if that helps. Yeah, they were a little long (I'm 5'7), but most jeans are--and I'm definitely not short! Not a big deal, and they really look so great, it doesn't matter. The back pocket detailing is gorgeous, the denim feels incredibly expensive, they look a little worn in, and most of all, don't shrink like crazy when you wash them. I also got these incredibly quickly--I can't recommend them enough. I will be LIVING in these--everything-tanks, tight tees, hoodies, sweaters, even flowy tops-looks great with them. I'm DONE with skinny jeans!
