V2 Supporter August 31, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My doctor recommended this product because of my vulvar varicosities and although it seemed weird at first, it has helped ease the pain of the veins. I do find it hard to wear all the time, but if I did, I think it would relieve my pain. I tend to put it on after the pain is already there and that doesn't help as much.
Prolapse supporter June 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have uterine and bladder prolapse. This supporter gives me the daily support I need. Love the size, convenience, and comfort of this product. It even looks cute on. Good price and shipped sooner than expected.
PHEWIE!!!!!!!! September 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product has been wonderful. It has eliminated almost all of the throbbing and "hanging out" feeling usually associated with this uncomfortable condition. By the end of the day I used be beside myself with discomfort but now I can comfortably stand up and walk for long periods of time without too much discomfort at the end of the day. It seems to also support my pubic bone, making me feel more secure while moving around. The only CON would be the terrible panty-line you get as a result of the two straps at the back. A small price to pay but it does look like I have 4 butt cheeks in some pants!!
Love-Hate Relationship November 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The V2 Supporter and I have a love-hate relationship. I love that it supports my vulvar vericosies and falling out/bulging feeling. It works wonders. I hate that it makes the worst panty-lines in the world, although when you are in so much discomfort who gives a crap about the panty-lines! I found that the newer version folds over at the top band which drives me to tears because I bought a pair a month ago and it has a nice thick top elastic band that doesn't fold over! I just wanted a pair to wear while I hand wash the other because you really can't turn back once you've felt the support of this thing. I found that the velcro tabs in the butt area poke, so I snipped the very tips of the corners off and I don't have a problem now. Good luck I totally recommend the V2 Supporter for Pregnant ladies with vein problems or the falling-out-the-groin feeling. It really has helped me!
Poor fit, wrong product for me. January 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because my OB said my vulvar varicosities were causing my pelvic floor pain. I had a feeling it was something else, but was desperate to relieve my pain so I got the belt. It did nothing to relieve my pain. Turns out I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, along with Vulvar Varicosities. Lucky me. If you can't roll over without severe pain, google SPD. I'm posting this because I wish someone else had before I bought this. I'm rating this product based on fit. My weight and dress size were within the range suggested for a small, but I didn't feel like it fit right. I wished I got a medium. The bands around the hips folded over and were very uncomfortable. The bands over the bum kept riding up and giving me a super-wedgie. I also wish there had been some kind of directions on how to make it fit right. Like "You know you're wearing it right if..." It basically said, "put it on like panties and adjust the straps." Adjust them to what? Maybe that would have been apparent if my pain disappeared immediately.
