This flip case for the 3rd Generation iPod Nano is an elegant & stylish, yet discrete & practical choice. The durable leather provides a flexible yet secure fit for Apples newest iPod Nano. The device access area of this case allows an unabstructed view of the display area, and control wheel. The bottom of the case allows access to the hold switch and the headphone jack. The rigid belt clip is nicely finished in the same leather and stiching to match the case. The magnetic closer for the cover is subtle yet secure. There is no notice in additional weight to the Nano, but there is a much more secure sense of touch with this case. Smaller devices are nicely convienent, but not always the easiest to handle. I think this case is an exceptional accessory for this latest iPod device.

Just received it today, and was very surprised at how well the iPod fits snugly into. Previous cases, including silicone, which I have bought are either too big or too small, but this leather case fits just nice.
The screen is completely visible, and with the cover on, I do not even need to use the hold switch, as there is absolutely no way to press a button accidentally. Very useful for me, when I want to skip certain songs when playing under shuffle.
The plastic screen protectors included are also VERY useful, and easy to apply. No bubbles appeared on the screen when I applied it. There is also the protection for the scroll pad, which is useful to prevent it from turning yellow, or discoloring. Though the sticker for the back is kinda redundant, since you will be placing the iPod inside the leather case, so what are the chances of you scratching the back?
Some may find the belt clip to be useful, but personally, I hoped it's removable. It's surprisingly sturdy too, as I tried to yank it out (cause I hated it) it did not even bend. I dare not pull any harder, in case I rip the leather itself.
All in all, this is an awesome cover for the new iPod, and considering how new the iPod is and the lack of cases available, this is probably your best bet right now.

AWESOME flip case for the new 3G iPod Nano. It is as nice as it looks on screen. Color matches my red Nano great. Flip is nice because I'm not scratching up the screen when I put it loose in my purse or pocket. It keeps the entire iPod protected. You get used to flipping it up to skip to next song, etc. in the car. Before buying this one online I went to Best Buy, Circuit City, Apple Store, and CompUSA. This by far beats anything out in the stores for a stylish, leather Nano case. Clip on back is real nice and same color as leather. I'm surprised it beats anything at the Apple store for accessories. Can't beat the price either. Can keep in case if you have a cassette player adaptor in the car.

I just got my case today. After looking and reading other reviews, I decided on this one. It offered what I needed. Flip style, belt clip, and screen protection. Overall it's a great case. Fits the Nano perfectly, easy access for the head phone jack. I feel like my ipod is securely protected. Definately recommened it!!

I agree with other reviewers that it fits the iPod really well, the flip feature is really nice, it's compact, and is slightly padded, so seems to protect the iPod. Just a heads up, though, that this is not eligible for free shipping. And the shipping is about $8! -- which to me was infuriating given how small and light it is. So know to add that to the price, which in my opinion made it too expensive for what it is. I got the special edition metal model which was $19.95. The item ended up costing $27.55! That's a lot! Expecially considering the leather isn't really high quality, and almost looks like plastic.
