| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description HR Giger first received acclaim in the 1960s with his airbrushed fantasy landscapes. However, he scored his big break in applied art, particularly in high-profile movie work, such as his design for Ridley Scott's Alien, which earned him an Oscar. This book was designed by the artist himself and features detailed commentaries in which Giger describes his work from the early 1960s to the present day. 280 illustrations.

A great book January 11, 2000 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This book have the personal design of Giger, and the quality of Taschen Books. The book includes very rare pieces like the first giger`s drawings and oleos, and explores every side of his work. The stereograms include Li II, and The cascade, in 3D.
Great Book, it has 3d images that are unbelievable July 2, 1999 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
The Book is one of my favorite. The Necronomocon is my favorite book, but www.hrgiger.com has 3d images that are amazing. They use the same concept as the ones in the malls. but they are giger pictures that become 3d. Just amazing. Buy this book
