These old time button suspenders look and work great. The adjustment clips are stiff to use but since a guy usually only has to adjust them once it's not a big issue. I had buttons sewed in my pants to use these types of suspenders as the clip types were scratching my leather car and truck seats as I slid in and out. They would also slip off from time to time, usually at the worst possible time/location for me to have to try and snap them back. I found that these button types are much superior to the clip types, they hold better and never slip off. These are great and the colors are neat

I've had problems with these. The white color gets dirty after a while. The blue one has chipped and started to discolor in places. That's OK if you always wear them under a jacket. In one of them, the adjusting clip keeps slipping. These are definitely the 'cheap' option. The jacquard from the same shop is better. BTW these have been 'reduced' forever!
Excellent value July 6, 2008
I purchased the regular size gray suspenders with brass fasteners and black leather ends. The fasteners hold securely, the elastic has just enough give, and the leather ends are attractive and well made. Definitely a bargain.
