Every Kindle Owner Should Buy One January 20, 2008 65 out of 80 found this review helpful
Every Kindle owner should buy one of these. Never run out out of battery again. Always carry a spare. Thank god Amazon made the Kindle battery user replaceable. Easy to change and you can keep on reading. Reasonable price too. How many batteries like this for other devices cost $50-65 bucks. You know what I mean. If you own a Kindle you need this right now ! Buy it ! OK ?
battery died after 3 months April 22, 2008 47 out of 49 found this review helpful
I love my Kindle and use it almost every day. However, after 3 months, my battery just died. I expected it to last longer. Luckily I had a spare. I was reading and the text froze. None of the buttons worked. When I turned off the device the page I was reading stayed on. It did not go away until I took out the old battery. I love my kindle but it looks like I need to have spares all the time.
battery, kindle January 24, 2008 38 out of 50 found this review helpful
Battery, what can you say about a battery other than it works, recharges, and holds the charge per specification? I guess you can say it doesn't. Well, this one does.
Kindle battery March 21, 2008 33 out of 36 found this review helpful
While I love my Kindle, the original battery that came with it only lasted a mere three months (and not real heavy usage) and is now dead and won't recharge. And now I see Amazon is sold out of replacements!
what's with the battery? May 23, 2008 31 out of 36 found this review helpful
I've had my kindle less than a month and the battery won't recharge. Now I see I can't get another one for a while. What is wrong with you people? Didn't anyone ever tell you the product has to work for more than a few days before the battery fails? If you can't get me a replacement battery, and the battery has such a crappy life, what use is the Kindle to me? Seriously guys.
