Comments: 1947. First Edition HARDCOVER. States: "Printed by Peter Beilenson. Mount Vernon, New York. New Directions Books are published by James Laughlin, New York". Lavendar decorative boards with "Lustig" imprinted on lower left hand corner of boards. Boards are acceptable with mild sunning. Spine has rarer gold "Tennesee Williams" lettering. Spine has some mild edgewear, as do remaining boards (small chips noted). Text is unmarked and good reading shape. Book and binding is strong and tight. There does appear to be a hint of mild staining to upper pages, near spine. Overall.....good reading/collectors copy that was appraised by Antiquarian Book appraiser at $250.00. Ships from my smoke free home with USPS delivery confirmation, or will ship internationally, usually same postal days from ordering. E-mail inquiries welcome. (C-A)
