Product Description
A one-stop natural magic shop
Natural magic is the ancient and powerful art of using material substances—herbs, stones, incenses, oils, and much more—to tap into the hidden magical powers of nature, transforming your surroundings and yourself.
Not just a cookbook of spells, the Encyclopedia of Natural Magic provides an introduction to the philosophy and ways of thought underlying this system. It also gives detailed information on 176 different herbs, trees, stones, metals, oils, incenses, and other substances, and offers countless ways to put them to magical use. With this book and a visit to your local herb store, rock shop, or your backyard garden, you're ready to enter the world of natural magic!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Compendium for Resource Use and Learning Magic   August 10, 2006
14 out of 14 found this review helpful

This book is set up with a brief description of what Natural magic is followed by an encyclopedia section describing the associations, mythology, and uses of several natural ingredients. One of the neatest features of the book is that it has a last section, called the "Natural Magic Workbook". It briefly describes how to make many useful things, such as potions, soaps, satchets, and more. The book is also written from a non-denominational standpoint, leaving room for someone of virtually any spiritual path to make use of it. Overall, the book was well-written, well-organized, and is a highly recommended addition to anyone's magical library.

5 out of 5 stars Great book on herbal magic and much more!   August 24, 2007

I really enjoyed the information presented in this book ... Not only is the information presented on each herb well, I liked the information presented in the back of the book the most ... Information on how to make your own talimans and also a small primer on herbal alchemy.

Overall, a pretty good read!

Much Love & Many Blessings,
Thorn Nightwind
